WCESC was presented with the President’s Award from the Franklin Chamber of Commerce

Franklin ChamberOn June 22, 2022, the Warren County Educational Service Center was presented with the President’s Award from the Franklin Chamber of Commerce.  The award is designed to spotlight people and programs that go above and beyond to ensure the Franklin is a great place to live and work.  WCESC Superintendent Tom Isaacs accepted the award on behalf of the entire Leadership Team for their contributions to public education over the past two years when many schools in Ohio closed for COVID 19.

In his remarks Mr. Isaacs highlighted the collaboration of Franklin Superintendent Mike Sander, Carlisle Superintendent David Vail, other public school superintendents in Warren County, State Senator Steve Wilson, State Representative Scott Lipps, the Warren County Commissioners, and the Warren County Department of Health, all whose efforts successfully kept every public school in Warren County open for the past two school years.  Mr. Isaacs noted that Warren County citizens benefit from the many partnerships across political jurisdictions.  He also offered comments of gratitude for the work of school board members over the past two years.

Warren County ESC operates the Warren County Learning Center programming in Franklin at both the Laura Farrell and St. Mary Campuses.  The Learning Center collaborates with school districts to meet the needs of students who have previously lacked successful experiences in the typical school setting due to severe emotional disabilities and/or intense mental health needs.
