?The Kings Local School District Board of Education is searching for a dynamic educational leader as their new Superintendent, effective August 1, 2021. This vacancy is created by the appointment of Kings Superintendent Tim Ackermann as Assistant Superintendent at Hamilton County Educational Service Center.
Kings is one of the finest school districts in Southwest Ohio. Kings Local School District is located in southwest Ohio's Warren County. The district consists of three K-4 elementary schools, one 5-6 intermediate school, one 7-8 junior high and one 9-12 high school with a student population of over 4,600. The district also offers residents a comprehensive preschool program with before and after school childcare.
Kings Local also offers: • A comprehensive preschool and childcare program fully licensed by the Ohio Dept. of Education and a 5-Star Step Up To Quality program. • Seventeen Advanced Placement courses and 10 dual enrollment courses in partnership with Cincinnati State, University of Cincinnati and Sinclair Community College. • A comprehensive technology program which includes Google for Education. • A student community service program with a graduation requirement of 50 service hours.
