Resident Educator Coordination:

WCESC supports teachers with the licensure process as required by Ohio Department of Education.  The Ohio RE Program is based on the understanding that student achievement improves as beginning teachers improve their instructional practices.  The program provides teachers with a standards based professional growth model designed to support resident educators and mentors as participants in learning communities throughout the four-year residency.  WCESC provides ongoing professional development opportunities and RESA support, the summative assessment REs need to pass to obtain their five year standard teaching license.
