Educator Licensure Information

All licensure applications must be completed online. You will need to create a SAFE account through the Ohio Department of Education homepage.

Attention All WCESC Licensure Applicants:  You should choose to have your license sent to your home and then provide the employer's copy to the Human Resources Department at WCESC.

If you are required to work with the LPDC be sure to follow those procedures by submitting all professional development through the Kiosk for approval.  This should be an ongoing process throughout the life of your 5 yr. professional license and begin for the next cycle the day after your renewed license is issued (see issued date on your license in the upper righthand corner).

Attention All Therapists/Nurses:  For individuals holding a respective Ohio Board license, you are NOT required to work with an LPDC.  When applying online be sure to chose "No" when asked if employed in an Ohio school district.  This will bypass the LPDC and submit your application directly to the Ohio Department of Education.
